With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mother, sister, Oma at McNally House in Grimsby on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 87. With unwavering strength and courage, surrounded by family, she finally found peace and will be reunited with her beloved Helmut. After immigrating from Germany in 1952 Mom spent many years building a successful business (Fruitland Tool and Mfg.) with her husband. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking for family occasions and in later years travelling the world with friends and family. Everyone privileged to have known her will miss her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes and optimistic personality. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Christine (Guenter), Heidi (Hank) and Rodney (Karen), brother Gerhard (Gisela) Munz and grandchildren Daniel, Jenna and Kristy. Also predeceased by her brother Eric Munz and grandson Nicholas. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, private interment. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 15 from 3-7 p.m. at Casablanca Winery Inn, 4 Windward Dr., Grimsby. Thank you to Lincoln Park Retirement Residence for their care of Marianne for the last six years. There are no words to express our gratitude to the staff and volunteers at McNally House who cared for mom so lovingly. Donations to McNally House would be ppreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME (905-544-1147). Online condolences at www.lgwallace.ca

Que Sera Sera,
Whatever will be, will be.
