<div itemprop="description">Passed away at the Juravinski Hospital on Friday, March 25, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Leach (1980). Dear mother of Ronald Leach (Mary Ann) and Lucielle (her late husband Dave) Vaudin. Cherished nanny of James Ramsay (Jennifer) and Craig Ramsay. Great-nanny to Nicholas Ramsay and Tashina Vaudin. Great great-nanny to Ray Jr. Survived by her sister Ann, and predeceased by her brothers Ron, Robert, Ernie, Frank, Norman, and sister Dorothy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Margaret met and married Lloyd in England during the War even though both were Canadians. She came back to Canada as a war bride with baby Ron in 1945 and settled in Hamilton with husband Lloyd who followed after the War. They soon welcomed baby Lucielle. With the exception of a short sojourn in the US, Margaret lived her life happily with her family in Hamilton. She was a member of the local VSL, the Canadian Legion Branch 58, and a life member of the RHLI which was always an important and central part of her life. There she became an avid euchre player, in addition to holding various positions in the Ladies' Auxiliary. Margaret always enjoyed life, and lived it as it came. Private family burial. A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held in the Chapel of the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa St. N., (905-544-1147) on Thursday, March 31st at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the lounge of the funeral home.
