"Loved Beyond Measure"

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of June on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Juravinski Hospital, after a relatively brief,
but valiant, battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her children Janis Webster (Ron), Glenn Willrich (Cathy Sigg), and Judi Willrich (Tom Yager), and her grandchildren Ryan (Ashley) Webster, Shawna Durham, David Webster, Weston Willrich, Jacob Willrich and Rob Stirling. Loved "G.G." (Great-Grandma) of Nathan, Ella, Liam, Alayna and Lucas. June will be lovingly remembered by her sister and friend, Shirley Pickard and family as well as the extended Krouse and Willrich families. The congregation of Delta Untied Church will surely miss June's presence along with the treats she shared each week before the Sunday service. A very talented seamstress, she will be missed by the people she sewed for over the years, many of whom became her friends. (The fabric shops on Ottawa Street have lost one of their regular customers!) A devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi, Mom will also be missed by her many sorority sisters.

Sincere thanks to the staff of Ward F3, Radiation Therapy, and the Emergency Department at Juravinski Hospital, and to the staff of the Step Down Unit and Clinical Teaching Unit of St. Joseph's Hospital. The family would also like to thank the kind and caring staff of Paramed and the VON for making it possible for Mom to be cared for at home for as long as possible. The family will always be grateful to Rev. Shelley Smith for her compassion, support and spiritual guidance during Mom's illness.

Family members look forward to sharing memories of Mom during visitation, which will be held at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa Street North, Hamilton (905-544-1147), on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a special service of remembrance for her sorority sisters from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. A celebration of June's life will take place on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 1 p.m. at Delta United Church, 47 Ottawa Street South, Hamilton with a reception to follow. Cremation to take place. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Delta United Church or the Cancer Assistance Program.

When June retired from Laidlaw Transport in the licensing department, the staff presented her with a personalized license plate, which may be the best way to end this obituary...

SEW LNG!

Online condolences at www.lgwallace.ca
