Dusan Cucuz
April 23, 1946 - February 2, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dusan, at the Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the age of 67. Beloved husband and best friend of Dara for 47 years. Dear father of Dragica (Miodrag) Todoric. Cherished Deda of Anastazia, Helena and Marko-Ranko (Junior). Predeceased by his son Vladimir, brother Ilija, and parents Branko and Ilinka. Dear brother of Svetko (Jela), Vlado (Grozda), Veselinka, Joka Cucuz, Koviljka (Bogdan) Ivetic in Serbia, Stana (Drago) Bubalo in B&H, Jovanka (Branko) Katic, brother-in-law Krsto (Zora) Gasic. Godfather to Zarko (Paullette), and Dimitri-Dusan Ivetic. He will be deeply missed by his many nephews, nieces, cousins, Todoric family, Kumovi and friends across Canada, the U.S.A. and the former Yugoslavia. Dusan was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (Nash Road). He was a proud High Pressure Welder for 38 years at Dofasco. He enjoyed his family and friends and will be remembered for his famous line, "Ask me if I care." The family will receive friends at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147), on Wednesday, February 5th from 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (Nash Road) on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. An additional thank you to the most wonderful and thoughtful staff in E4 at the Juravinski Hospital.
