<div itemprop="description">TRATNYEK, Doreen Olive (Mainstone) <br /> <br />Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6 2015 at St. Peter&rsquo;s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Vince (1997). Much loved Mom to Carol Dushko (Steve), Paul (Teresa) and Lou (Jan). Loving Grandma to Nicholas (Andrea), Michael (Biljana), Stephanie, Catherine (Luke), Anna, Matthew (Annamarie) and James (Gillian). Great-Grandma to Trevor, Carter, Andrew, Delilah, Maddison and Gavin. Dear sister of Dennis (Annette) Mainstone, the late Don Mainstone and Linda Pearson. Doreen retired as head cashier from Dominion/A&amp;P after 34 years of service. During her retirement years she enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas, cruises, playing Euchre, gardening, reading and baking. She will be fondly remembered by her Tolton neighbours and fellow parishioners of Holy Family Church for her Empire Cookies and Rhubarb Cake. The family will receive family and friends on Monday March 9 from 6 - 9 pm with vigil prayer at 8:00 pm at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa Street North 905-544-1147). Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday March 10 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church (corner of Cannon and Kenilworth Avenue). Thank you to Rev. Hanh Van Tran and Father Bill Trusz for their spiritual guidance and support. The family wishes to thank neighbours Sharon, Kenny, Jimmy and Marilyn and to Dr. Steven Cusimano and staff for their compassion and care. A special thank you to Dr. Bev, Christine, Donna, Audrey and all the 3 West nurses and caregivers at St. Peter&rsquo;s Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
